Maintenance Service Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Wall molding;
- Minor drywall damages;
- Gutters, down spouts and connecting hoses;
- Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
- Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms;
- Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repair;
- Provide excellent customer service to residents;
- Keep the grounds free of debris and trash;
- Performing general maintenance to maintain property appearance and condition;
- Life Insurance;
- Model Home Centers are closed on Sundays – we believe in offering a balanced working environment;
- Performance bonuses/profit sharing;
- Will place orders with approved vendors for all necessary supplies and equipment;
- Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times;
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
- General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
- Valid driver’s license;
- HVAC Certification a plus;
- Apartment maintenance experience a plus;
- The endurance to perform strenuous tasks;
- Numerous and varied handyman skills;
- The ability to work in all environments (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow);
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance;
- Professional appearance and demeanor;
- The ability to safely climb ladders;
- Applicants are subject to a criminal background check and must pass a pre-employment drug screen;
- Ability to pass criminal background check as well as post-offer drug screen.
