Our company is looking for a Maintenance Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Wall molding;
  • Minor drywall damages;
  • Gutters, down spouts and connecting hoses;
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
  • Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms;
  • Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repair;
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents;
  • Keep the grounds free of debris and trash;
  • Performing general maintenance to maintain property appearance and condition;
  • Life Insurance;
  • Model Home Centers are closed on Sundays – we believe in offering a balanced working environment;
  • Performance bonuses/profit sharing;
  • Will place orders with approved vendors for all necessary supplies and equipment;
  • Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times;
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • HVAC Certification a plus;
  • Apartment maintenance experience a plus;
  • The endurance to perform strenuous tasks;
  • Numerous and varied handyman skills;
  • The ability to work in all environments (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow);
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor;
  • The ability to safely climb ladders;
  • Applicants are subject to a criminal background check and must pass a pre-employment drug screen;
  • Ability to pass criminal background check as well as post-offer drug screen.
