Our company is looking for a Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers;
  • Wall molding;
  • Window screens and blinds;
  • Minor drywall damages;
  • Rodent control;
  • Gutters, down spouts and connecting hoses;
  • Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repair;
  • Clean and inspect boiler and storage rooms;
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances);
  • Toilets, sinks, vanities and disposals;
  • Caulking;
  • Prepare or complete service requests;
  • Maintenance team support;
  • Prepare and fulfill turnover checklists;
  • Communicate with management about complaints or community violations.

Requirements:

  • PLUS: Boiler License, HVAC, CPO, Universal CFC, other certifications;
  • Measuring: Calipers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, testing meters, PH tests, gauges, etc;
  • Prefer: 1+ years’ of maintenance experience;
  • Bilingual language skills is a plus;
  • Power Tools: Wrenches, grinders, sanders, drills, saws, etc;
  • Personality & Characteristics: Able to solve problems, work with minimal supervision, outgoing, self-motivated, reliable, punctual;
  • Hand Tools: Various wrenches, hammer, grips, saws, sledgehammer, snips, post hole diggers, etc;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and climb ladders;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance experience with apartment experience preferred;
  • HVAC Certification a plus;
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Valid driver’s license.
