Our company is looking for a Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Performs other duties as required;
  • Maintain an organized and neat shop;
  • Keep work and report logs on issues;
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues;
  • Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner;
  • Use various test equipment to measure parts and machine condition;
  • Efficient in maintaining safety standards and monitoring company requirements;
  • Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and thickness gauges;
  • Assign duties to assistants;
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements;
  • Overhaul and repair electric and fuel system engines;
  • Plans work procedures using charts, technical manuals, and experience;
  • Install cranes onto service body;
  • Install service body on truck chassis.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Strong verbal communication skills;

  • Previous mechanical experience;
  • Scientific Measurement Instumentation;
  • Must have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics;
  • Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
  • Line production experience a plus;
  • Must have ability to work with chemicals, paints, and solvents;
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record is preferred;
  • Yellow Iron experience;
  • Ability to implement mechanical knowledge and skills;
  • Specialized school is a plus;
  • Own tools are required.
