Mobile Service Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Completes necessary repair and preventive maintenance work;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Checks safety equipment on truck and/or equipment;
- Inspects trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels;
- Identifies and designates problems;
- Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service;
- Maintains and/or changes air, oil, coolant and fuel filters;
- Make emergency road side repairs; at times after-hours; carry, monitor and answer company issued cellphone for after hour service calls;
- Pre-delivery setup and installation on all makes and models of on-highway truck engines, trucks, and related equipment;
- Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies and rules;
- Write service reports that accurately document activities;
- Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner;
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation;
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager;
- Perform PM’s and inspections.
Requirements:
- Ability to do mechanical repairs.
