Our company is looking for a PC Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Escalates problems and requests as appropriate;
  • May interface with third party vendors to resolve certain hardware/software problems;
  • May contribute to desktop/laptop software evaluations and upgrades;
  • Troubleshoots technical computing problems;
  • Troubleshooting different computer issues;
  • Lifting and moving new electronics;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved;
  • Configure computer networks;
  • Troubleshooting and solving technical issues related to end user equipment hardware and software;
  • Diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions and replace or repair malfunctioning equipment;
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware;
  • Installing software or hardware;
  • Basic hardware and Windows software troubleshooting;
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software;
  • Accurately and timely document all support activities per approved policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of applicable work experience;
  • Experience supporting Windows 7, Windows 10, and MS Office 2013;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Experience working in a DoD environment;
  • Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience;
  • Must be able to obtain Interim Secret Clearance;
  • Experience supporting Office 365;
  • Ability to work well independently on defined tasks;
  • Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I (examples include: A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security certifications);
  • Experience using Remedy or a similar ticketing system;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to coordinate and get cooperation from multiple areas within IT to accomplish assignments;
  • Strong analytical and follow through skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
