Power Converter Test Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Power Converter Test Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily perform hardware test and integration of highly complex, highly reliable spaceflight payload electronics.
Requirements:
- Good computer skills and knowledge of UNIX, Windows and MS Office;
- Knowledgeable use of test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators;
- Read and follow detailed work instructions and test procedures;
- Associates degree;
- Focus is on completing tasks or activities supporting implementation of procedures;
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations;
- Background in electrical testing techniques with a basic understanding of Ohms Law;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Power Converter Test Technician;
- Interfacing daily with engineering and tasked to run special tests for engineering;
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics and the necessary interfaces;
- Flexible Schedule;
- Understanding of the job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks;
