Our company is looking for a Repair Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to be a self-starter and seek out tasks to be completed;
- General gear knowledge;
- Ability to switch tasks with ease;
- As this job is customer interfacing, good communication skills and friendly demeanor;
- Time management and great detail orientation;
- Inspection of cameras;
- Maintain proper truck stock of parts;
- Answer any questions the customers may have and provide suggestions as needed;
- Repair cameras of all brands;
- Order parts and update the customers service order in the computer;
- Properly diagnose the customers appliance and determine what is needed to repair the unit;
- Work with the customer to identify the problems and repair machines;
- Maintain a clean and safe truck;
- Assist with installations, repair and maintenance of machines.
Requirements:
- Highly adaptable to various situations and customer needs;
- Ability to problem solve quickly and find effective solutions to issues that arise;
- Ability to climb on and off required equipment;
- Installation of new equipment in an industrial environment;
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English;
- 1-2 years recent experience in a warehouse environment;
- Excellent attendance;
- Knowledge of photography;
- Experience working with cameras;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled colleagues and clientele;
- Strong computer skills;
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide;
- Reliable transportation;
- Technical background preferred, but not required.
