Our company is looking for a Shop Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned by management;
  • Overhaul and repair electric and fuel system engines;
  • Clean equipment with pressure washer;
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs;
  • Prepare all lists of tools and material for jobsites;
  • Deliver tools and material to jobsites;
  • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise;
  • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items;
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times;
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type;
  • Welcome delivery trucks;
  • Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools;
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently, analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems;
  • Maintain service records;
  • Ability to work independently in performing repairs and maintenance, strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to read and understand electrical & hydraulic schematics;
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check;
  • Must be able to read English;
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record is preferred;
  • Must be able to safely operate various types of high reach equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts;
  • Mechanic experience;
  • Knowledge of Off-road heavy equipment;
  • Diesel engines;
  • Must be very good at using test equipment, meters, gauges, hand-helds, lap tops, etc;
  • Must be able to work shop equipment such as cranes, port-o-powers, chain hoists, etc;
  • Must be able to properly use parts manuals to obtain parts and order parts;
  • Must be able to properly use test equipment, gauges, meters & hand-helds;
  • Must have Minimum Class “B” Hand & power tools;
  • Must be able to properly use the parts manuals to look up and order correct replacement parts;
  • Should be able to read and understand electrical & hydraulic schematics.
