Our company is looking for a Sr. Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, revises, and reviews equipment, maintenance or other related procedures;
  • Reviews and technically approves maintenance reports, forms, plans and records;
  • May be responsible for various aspects of building, utility and production systems/equipment;
  • Participate in On-Call rotation for after hour’s facility and manufacturing support and may work outside of established shift hours upon short notice;
  • This role interacts with peers and clients in manufacturing, maintenance, utility plants, analytical labs and contracted services;
  • May require second or third shift work;
  • Provide training for staff, clients and projects;
  • Interpret and revise loops sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID’s, I/O wiring and panel drawings;
  • Provide audit support.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience documenting maintenance activities through a work order system;
  • Working knowledge of maintenance principles, theories, and operations;
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook documenting and communicating workflow processes;
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: process and instrumentation diagrams;
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and writing diagrams;
  • 2 years of experience creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Refrigeration equipment;
  • Skilled in the communication of issue and resolution to the non-specialist;
  • 5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment performing advanced repair functions on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
  • HVAC equipment;
  • Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (Mig, Tig and Stick);
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as Hydraulic and Mechanical presses, mill and lathe;
  • Ability to work with peers in a team situation;
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools;
  • 5 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
