Our company is looking for a Subaru Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications;
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
  • Inspect and perform testing on new vehicles, record findings so that necessary repairs can be made;
  • Provide estimate of time needed for additional recommended repairs;
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed;
  • Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong automotive background is preferred;
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications;
  • Good knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills;
  • S Must be able to handle interruptions and perform simultaneous tasks �in stride�
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information;
  • Factory trained Subaru experience or experience on import vehicles (preferred);
  • Ensures that guest�s cars are kept clean;
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • A fast learner Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent Guest Service Skills Team Player and focused on maintaining�a high level guest service;
  • Housekeeping and abide by safety rules of the shop;
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry;
  • Must have at least 3�years of experience as an auto technician.
