Our company is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review and negotiate intercreditor agreements with subordinate and mezzanine lenders;
  • Review and negotiate lender’s title insurance policies for real estate collateral;
  • Determine necessary due diligence searches and review results;
  • Prepare and/or review and negotiate zoning and land use opinions related to real estate collateral;
  • Prepare and negotiate participation and syndication agreements with other lenders;
  • Negotiate loan documents with Borrower’s counsel and other third parties involved in the collateral;
  • Prepare and negotiate Subordination Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements with respect to tenants for commercial real estate collateral;
  • Commercial Real Estate Attorney will review the lender’s credit approval requirements and prepare loan documents for the transaction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work directly with clients and desire to develop business with little to no supervision;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to resolve problems quickly and objectively using sound business judgment;
  • Membership in state bar association, preferably Florida;
  • Some corporate transactional duties as needed;
  • Proven ability to work in a team oriented, flexible environment;
  • 5+ years of transactional commercial real estate experience in either a law firm or in house legal position;
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Meticulous attention to details and strong organizational;
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate experience;
  • High-energy with an ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
