Commercial Real Estate Attorney Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review and negotiate intercreditor agreements with subordinate and mezzanine lenders;
- Review and negotiate lender’s title insurance policies for real estate collateral;
- Determine necessary due diligence searches and review results;
- Prepare and/or review and negotiate zoning and land use opinions related to real estate collateral;
- Prepare and negotiate participation and syndication agreements with other lenders;
- Negotiate loan documents with Borrower’s counsel and other third parties involved in the collateral;
- Prepare and negotiate Subordination Non-Disturbance and Attornment Agreements with respect to tenants for commercial real estate collateral;
- Commercial Real Estate Attorney will review the lender’s credit approval requirements and prepare loan documents for the transaction.
Requirements:
- Ability to work directly with clients and desire to develop business with little to no supervision;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- The ability to resolve problems quickly and objectively using sound business judgment;
- Membership in state bar association, preferably Florida;
- Some corporate transactional duties as needed;
- Proven ability to work in a team oriented, flexible environment;
- 5+ years of transactional commercial real estate experience in either a law firm or in house legal position;
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Meticulous attention to details and strong organizational;
- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience;
- High-energy with an ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
