Our company is looking for a Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and handle all exhibits;
  • Assisting senior attorneys on a variety of litigation matters;
  • Respond to litigation discovery and third party subpoenas;
  • Prepare simple pleadings and litigation documents;
  • Prepare litigation report to auditors;
  • Manage multiple litigation and abritration matters;
  • Managing litigation and employment related matters;
  • Maintain files on litigation and employment matters;
  • Managing automobile and general liability litigation matters;
  • Providing litigation paralegal support to the firm in all practice areas;
  • Assist with responses to written discovery in litigation matters;
  • Prepare and maintain quarterly pre-litigation and litigation reports;
  • Prepare litigation summaries for inclusion in litigation status log;
  • Ensure all litigation hold inventory;
  • Assist attorneys in litigation/li.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred;
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment managing competing priorities;
  • Ability to consistently meet performance goals and objectives;
  • Experience utilizing technology and maintaining a paperless office;
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail, and work efficiently in an extremely fast paced and challenging legal environment;
  • Exemplary tenure with previous employers and must pass a criminal background check;
  • Solid character and judgment, high degree of professionalism, and strong decision-making skills;
  • Working knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, Statutes, and E-filing;
  • 3+ years of civil litigation & trial experience;
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Aderant/Total Office;
  • Proficiency in preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery;
  • High school diploma/equivalent or Bachelor’s degree.
