Our company is looking for a Chemistry Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead setting up new microbiology laboratory assays/methods (test method validation);
  • Performing microbiology sampling and testing of critical rooms and utilities;
  • Coordinate sampling and testing of critical areas;
  • Assist in laboratory investigations of microbiology excursions;
  • Perform limited testing under appropriate supervision;
  • Start a career working in a microbiology laboratory;
  • Perform microbiology testing in a timely fashion, while maintaining a high level of quality work;
  • Assist with qualification/transfer of methods into the QC microbiology department;
  • Bioburden analysis, and sterility testing;
  • Perform microbiology analysis of substances, such as alcohols, waters;
  • Maintain the safety and orderliness of the lab;
  • Perform Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate, bioburden and other microbiology assays;
  • Submit samples for testing to microbiology laboratory or contracted laboratory for TOC, conductivity, microbial count, and endotoxins;
  • Conducting microbiology testing and maintaining documentation of processes to facilitate analysis procedures;
  • Perform environmental monitoring testing and utility sampling and testing on scheduled days.

  • Ability to accurately mix viscous liquids in volumetric flasks;
  • Highly organized; detail oriented, and able to multi-task daily;
  • Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
