Our company is looking for a Chemistry Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead setting up new microbiology laboratory assays/methods (test method validation);
- Performing microbiology sampling and testing of critical rooms and utilities;
- Coordinate sampling and testing of critical areas;
- Assist in laboratory investigations of microbiology excursions;
- Perform limited testing under appropriate supervision;
- Start a career working in a microbiology laboratory;
- Perform microbiology testing in a timely fashion, while maintaining a high level of quality work;
- Assist with qualification/transfer of methods into the QC microbiology department;
- Bioburden analysis, and sterility testing;
- Perform microbiology analysis of substances, such as alcohols, waters;
- Maintain the safety and orderliness of the lab;
- Perform Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate, bioburden and other microbiology assays;
- Submit samples for testing to microbiology laboratory or contracted laboratory for TOC, conductivity, microbial count, and endotoxins;
- Conducting microbiology testing and maintaining documentation of processes to facilitate analysis procedures;
- Perform environmental monitoring testing and utility sampling and testing on scheduled days.

- Ability to accurately mix viscous liquids in volumetric flasks;
- Highly organized; detail oriented, and able to multi-task daily;
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
