Computer Vision Researcher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Computer Vision Researcher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to improve accuracy of computer vision algorithms;
- Solve computer vision challenges that can be applied large-scale consumer experiences around the world;
- Conduct creative computer vision research in recognition and semantic understanding of 3-dimensional real-world scenes;
- Building integrated solutions that apply our technology towards specific product verticals;
- Developing and maintaining the software stack on the robotic platform.
Requirements:
- Candidates should include a detailed list of publications as part of their resume/CV;
- Experience collaborating successfully with others and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
- Highly innovative and demonstrated track record for solving difficult technical challenges using imagery;
- PhD in Computer Science or related field;
- Strong publication record in top-tier research publications and conferences;
- Experience with OpenCV and other computer vision libraries;
- Expertise with deep learning applications for vision;
- MS or PhD (PhD preferably) in computer science or a related field, with focus on computer vision, robotics or deep learning;
- Proficient experience in C++;
- Experience with ground truth systems like Vicon;
- Willingness to lead development efforts for a nascent team that is growing rapidly;
- Experience developing visual SLAM systems and multiple approaches to solving the problem;
- Experience in computer vision geometry;
- Publications in a top tier conference such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NIPS, ICLR, ICML.
