Responsibilities:
- Preparation of technical studies and reports;
- Wetland delineations;
- Data collection, entry, interpretation and analysis;
- Wildlife and botanical surveys.
Requirements:
- Basic biological scientific understanding;
- Possess strong written, oral, and collaborative skills in order to effectively communicate experimental procedures and results;
- Good English: written and oral for effective communication;
- Understanding of characterization (UV, SDS-PAGE, HPLC analytical), chromatography, filtration and separation technics;
- Routine lab technics like calculating and making chemical solutions and pipetting;
- Experience with a Akta chromatography and Tecan or similar robotics purification;
- Preparing biological resources sections of CEQA and NEPA documents;
- Wetlands permitting (e.g. CWA Section 404 and 401, CDFW Section 1600);
- Sensitive species permitting (e.g. ESA Section 7 biological assessments);
- Preparing and implementing mitigation, restoration, and monitoring plans.
