Our company is looking for a Entry Level Biologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of technical studies and reports;
  • Wetland delineations;
  • Data collection, entry, interpretation and analysis;
  • Wildlife and botanical surveys.

Requirements:

  • Basic biological scientific understanding;
  • Possess strong written, oral, and collaborative skills in order to effectively communicate experimental procedures and results;
  • Good English: written and oral for effective communication;
  • Understanding of characterization (UV, SDS-PAGE, HPLC analytical), chromatography, filtration and separation technics;
  • Routine lab technics like calculating and making chemical solutions and pipetting;
  • Experience with a Akta chromatography and Tecan or similar robotics purification;
  • Preparing biological resources sections of CEQA and NEPA documents;
  • Wetlands permitting (e.g. CWA Section 404 and 401, CDFW Section 1600);
  • Sensitive species permitting (e.g. ESA Section 7 biological assessments);
  • Preparing and implementing mitigation, restoration, and monitoring plans.
