Responsibilities:
- Exercises independent judgment in dealing with procedural and technical problems;
- Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manuals;
- Adherence to CAP, CLIA, State Regulations, HIPAA, Safety and OSHA Regulations;
- Follow GMP operating procedures for production of product and maintenance of a controlled, aseptic manufacturing environment;
- Assists in packing, unpacking, storage and maintenance of lab supplies and materials;

- Prepares stock solutions and buffers;
- Provides quality animal care to prevent stress;

Requirements:
- Skill in using computer programs and applications;
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s in life sciences;
- or;
- Supply Management;
- Creating a safe, effective and productive environment;
- Equipment calibration;
- General technical, mechanical, and/or chemical understanding;
- Basic computer knowledge (Word and Excel) and skills in lab information systems is preferred;
- No special degree requirement as long as the candidate has the experience working in a biological laboratory;
- Lab experience preferred;
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred;
- Ability to consult with trainer for any new tasks and/or request from micro technicians as they arise;
- Experience of rearing insects is a plus;
- Must be able to perform repetitive work;
- Must be able to work independently.
