Manufacturing Planner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Planner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with the customers regarding order status and anticipated delivery dates;
- Moving file boxes to the storage unit for storage purposes (heavy boxes);
- Updating the production control log as jobs are released;
- Updating the Parker weekly status sheet and Parker PH system;
- Release jobs to the production floor in a timely manner, signaling to the production manager if jobs are going to be late;
- Requisitioning materials from the stockroom;
- Support incoming phone coverage;
- Support Shipping area as required.
Requirements:
- Other duties as required or assigned;
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices;
- May perform physical movement of hardware as a result of processing NCR and ECO dispositions;
- Represents group with interdepartmental activity with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering and inventory control.
