Our company is looking for a Mass Spectrometry Scientist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and develop quantitative workflows;
  • Some travel required;
  • Daily operation and support of LC-MS systems in the lab;
  • Develop and publish application notes, generate and deliver scientific material for internal and external distribution;
  • Demonstrate competency in troubleshooting, optimization and implementation of challenging and innovative LC-MS/MS assays;
  • Perform LC-MS workflow including sample preparation, method development and execution, data acquisition and analysis, and report writing;
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to validation protocols, reports and bioanalytical reports.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in method development and troubleshooting;
  • MS and 3 years of experience in LC-MS;
  • Familiarity with metabolite identification and profiling studies;
  • Hands-on experience with chromatographic separation of various analytes by LC and characterization and quantification by MS or MS/MS;
  • Familiarity with basic pharmacokinetic data analyses;
  • Experience with Automation;
  • Proficiency with mass spectrometry software as well as spreadsheet, word processing, and graphical computer programs;
  • Industry experience;
  • Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or similar Life Science PhD and 0 years of experience in LC-MS;
  • Knowledge of chromatographic assay validation guidelines and GLP regulations;
  • Small/large-molecule mass spectrometry experience;
  • BS and 5 years of experience in LC-MS.
