Our company is looking for a Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate MRP planning parameters and planning data on an on-going basis;
  • Review and analyze MRP reports, and create and maintain inventory jobs and work orders;
  • Insures availability of purchased materials necessary to support the production plan;
  • Expedites the placement of purchase orders and/or delivery of materials (BOM);
  • Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Analyze inventory & production data to determine process failure and develop corrective actions;
  • Identify opportunities to implement KanBans programs; monitor performance once implemented;
  • Researches current transportation related topics at local, State, and Federal levels;
  • Clerical work: filing, faxing, record keeping, organizing;
  • Works with Operations and support departments to understand and schedule equipment maintenance and calibration;
  • Work with project managers, business development and senior management to create long range master plans;
  • Analyzes data and prepares detailed maps for use on thematic maps and in reports;
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned periodically by Supply Chain Director;
  • Manage Merchandise Assistant.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint;
  • Background check;
  • Background check required;
  • Able to effectively lead and coordinate multiple, complex requests/projects;
  • 1 year experience working in a project material management related role;
  • 2 years experience MRP systems;
  • Drug Test;
  • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and Project;
  • At least 2 years of related experience and/or training in planning or purchasing preferred;
  • Able to effectively read, hear and understand detailed oral and written communication;
  • B.S. degree preferred with emphasis Operations, Supply Chain Management, or other applicable field;
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus;
  • B.S in scientific or business field, or equivalent experience;
  • Must have the ability to accurately communicate ideas, instructions, problems and solutions;
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Planning, Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
