Our company is looking for a Production Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • May create monthly TNRCC Emission Report and Waste Manifest: collecting required documents, and file;
  • Utilize part shortage reports to solve inventory issues and optimize the use of working capital;
  • Evaluate customer forecast and enter information into MRP system;
  • Other duties and projects as assigned;
  • Schedule, expedite, and coordinate the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and conditional material releases;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Purchase standard and non-standard items and services to support production and customer needs;
  • Report as Finished and End production orders, identify and report out on cost discrepancies;
  • Work effectively with multiple departments to meet timelines;
  • Seek to improve existing standards and procedures to support continuous improvement in support of the Quality Management System (QMS);
  • Library and Information Management;
  • Work to update monthly department Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s);
  • Inventory;
  • Assign ownership and implement work process to drive accuracy at the BOM, route, inventory, and Item Master levels;
  • Analyze, plan, and release production orders to manufacturing while verifying materials and equipment required for production are available.

Requirements:

  • Teamwork, energy level, productivity, quality focus, self-motivated, organization, time management, attendance and attention to detail;
  • Effective writing skills;
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment;
  • Scheduling techniques;
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning;
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, business, or equivalent;
  • Noise level is usually moderate;
  • Flexible and adaptable;
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Analytical skills and ability to make data based decisions;
  • Experience with Microsoft office/strong in excel;
  • Ability to promote and drive continuous improvement;
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with team members.
