Our company is looking for a Qa Tech to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts inspections and completes daily QA documents / reports as required by our SQF program;
- Working with a team to meet production goals;
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Perform other duties as specified by QA Manager;
- Test products for variety of quality parameters such as dimension, weight, temperature and color;
- Perform temperature and record keeping audits for the facilities as required by our SQF program;
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures;
- Conduct daily quality audits in the processing area to ensure finished products meet product specifications;
- Ensures that all incoming raw materials and packaging are inspected and meet specification;
- Conducts daily audits to ensure the facility complies with all FDA requirements;
- Conduct pre-op inspections to include taking all swabs for microbiological analysis;
- Report findings and recommendations to key personnel as necessary;
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor;
- Maintain data files accurately;
- Coordinate all finished product microbiological and analytical testing conducted in house and at outside laboratories.
Requirements:
- Solid work history;
- Reliable;
- Experience in QA is a plus;
- Warehouse experience;
- Have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations;
- Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English. Bi-lingual preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers;
- Have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
