Quality Assurance Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Observe and report any and all deviations;
- Performs other duties as assigned or required;
- Collect data and product sampling to upmost accuracy;
- Comply and enforce current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) per the Food and Drug Administration (21CFR Part 110);
- Develop and execute product and/or process capability studies, as required to support the product teams;
- Support customer qualification activities, including MVP, IQ, OQ, and PQ;
- Develop and execute First Article Inspection reports, including measurement of parts and releasing reports;
- Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals;
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested;
- Data analysis and reporting;
- Evaluate control data and draft reports, noting and taking action on any relevant deviations from existing standards;
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment;
- Communicating rejections to the appropriate personnel;
- Perform inspections / audits across all stages of production;
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints;
- Quality Technician experience preferably in food or in a pharmaceutical industry desired;
- Able to read and write the English language proficiently. Bilingual preferred;
- Punctuality and hard working;
- Testing on inspection and measurement is a prerequisite for this position;
- Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested;
- Perform inspection of components and assemblies not limited to receiving, in-process and final Inspections;
- Experience using microscopes and measuring with microscopes;
- Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals;
- 5-10 years quality related experience;
- Strict adherence to safety and health workplace standards;
- Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds;
- Good math skills;
- Must have the physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods of time;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
