Quality Laboratory Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Quality Laboratory Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handles sample and reagent preparations (carefully and accurately) for analytical and functional assays;
- Maintains accurate and detailed sample, product and instrument records;
- Uses a variety of analytical and sample handling equipment;
- Complies with the requirements for an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Science preferred (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) OR associate’s with 1 year of lab experience;
- Preferred experience with HPLC, GC, or LC-MS;
- Understanding of basic concepts of measurement systems, testing, and calibration are required;
- Possess a two-year technical or associates degree;
- O ne (1) combined year of laboratory and/or chemical manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment;
- H igh school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution;
- Detail oriented with strong oral and written communication skills;
- Skills to operate, maintain, and perform basic adjustments to equipment involved with product testing;
- Experienced and knowledgeable in routine test procedures, problem solving, products, and equipment.
