Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Place Production orders as needed to support a 98% fill rate and our monthly inventory targets;
  • Prepare a variety of Monthly Reports as needed to support the assigned Businesses;
  • Coordinate and plan non-commercial demand (product development batches) and new product launches;
  • Manage Customer Forecast System for assigned product lines;
  • Identify and execute stock transfers as needed to balance out the inventory within the network;
  • Responsible for the analyzing and managing appropriate inventory control actions with regard to short dated or expired or obsolete materials;
  • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision making;
  • Support the Monthly Internal and Tokyo PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) meeting by taking meeting minutes or running the meeting as needed;
  • Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g.,EEO, FDA, etc.) and Company policy and procedures;
  • Analysis and development of appropriate safety stock levels for assigned materials;
  • Identify necessary updates to Master Recipes for assigned materials in conjunction with MDM, PE, and QM;
  • Act as a backup for the EID Planner when it comes to allocations;
  • Be the primary point of contact for business partners;
  • Good Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Thrives in pressure situations and able to balance multiple priorities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent math skills. Must possess strong data entry and typing skills;
  • A basic understanding of CGMP production guidelines is required for this position;
  • APICS certification preferred, but not required;
  • Experience working closely with closely with marketing and sales teams;
  • Ability to build analytical tools using Excel;
  • 2-4 years experience in a supply and/or demand planning role supporting national retail accounts;
  • Exposure working within S&OP process is a plus;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required;
  • History of managing to inventory targets while meeting a high service level to customers;
  • 3+ years of supply planning experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products;
  • Ability to meet deadlines in specified time constraints;
  • SAP or Supply Chain Management experience.
