Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Plant Manager on shipping and receiving operations;
  • Give support with design, manufacturing and ordering procedures;
  • Develop scheduling and have oversight on production practices;
  • Train, Develop and motivate associates;
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with team and other managers;
  • Discuss and improve members of each team;
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures;
  • When Plant Manager is unavailable become direct line of contact and become responsible for all operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Manufacturing Management or related field;
  • Proven background in high volume production or manufacturing management, preferably within the building material or construction fields;
  • 5 plus years of design experience;
  • Organization and interpersonal skills;
  • Considerable knowledge of management, supervision and leadership procedures;
  • Project management skills;
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, DOT and Environmental Regulations;
  • Recruitment, selection, training and supervision experience;
  • Ability to define, prepare and analyze production reports, budgets and capital costs;
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, paint chemistry, processing, plant capacity and automations.
