Our company is looking for a Assistant Service Advisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in generating reports;
  • Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations;
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required;
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Be a liaison between guests and the service department;
  • Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems;
  • Respond to internet leads promptly;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Learns from mentors, supervisors, and all other team members to refine/grow skills;
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures;
  • Do follow up as directed with guests for CSI;
  • Be able to make service appointments utilizing the computer appointment system.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience;
  • Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance;
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles;
  • Positive and hardworking personality;
  • One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff;
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Excellent teammate with collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve;
  • Prompt and courteous demeanor;
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress;
  • Automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge helpful.
