Our company is looking for a Business Development Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential customers and business partners through direct meetings, conferences and industry associations;
  • Understand and influence other organizations, like public relations, sales, marketing, supply chain and regulatory affairs, to ensure program success;
  • Develop and maintain authoritative data sources to drive decision-making;
  • Provide business modeling and analytics to support bid/no-bid decisions and other business gate reviews;
  • Support business intelligence reporting, marketing execution, and ad hoc analysis;
  • Build, develop and lead a high-performing team to meet aggressive growth goals;
  • Support analysis and targeting of sales efforts through statistical modeling, customer segmentation and profiling, and data mining;
  • Represent Analytical Space in various forums (e.g., conferences, symposiums, customer visits) and impart detailed information about Analytical Space;
  • Create targeting and segmentation schemes to focus sales approach.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, data analysis, and forecasting;
  • Commercial and government business capture and proposal development experience;
  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance or higher, or ability to obtain one;
  • Travel Requirements: 25% minimum, U.S. and International;
  • Thorough understanding of global commercial or military aerospace markets;
  • 10+ years professional experience in aerospace or high-tech industry in an engineering, strategy, business development or sales role;
  • BS degree in engineering highly desired. MBA, or equivalent experience, is required;
  • Management consulting experience (preferred);
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, US Government acquisition, and/or project management;
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
