Our company is looking for a Catering Sales to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for business relations with clients;
  • Meet and greet clients, conduct site visits, and promote catering services;
  • Onsite Event Management: Supervise and attend set-up and execution of events and meetings when needed;
  • Works in collaboration on marketing and general outreach;
  • Ownership of full cycle of events with support from the team;
  • Works on a consistent basis to generate new business and maintains contact with present accounts;
  • Participate in weekly sales and event logistics meetings;
  • Responsible for traveling to in-person meetings and conducting calls, both corporate and private, to generate business;
  • This position also actively works to promote and grow the company.

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of previous catering sales experience required. Ideal candidate has experience with managing over $1mill in sales;
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests;
  • The ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy, manage multiple priorities, and delegate tasks efficiently;
  • Works on a consistent basis of supporting and promoting happiness at Culinary Eye;
  • Self-starters and can hit the ground running;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse population;
  • Familiarity and use of social media;
  • Valid CA driving license with clean driving record and personal car or means of transportation;
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet firm production deadlines;
  • A love of food and events;
  • This role has an expectation of over $1million in sales for the first year;
  • Strive for awesomeness;
  • Computer Skills: Ability to work on Mac, Google Suite, quick learning of software programs.
