Our company is looking for a Catering Sales to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for business relations with clients;
- Meet and greet clients, conduct site visits, and promote catering services;
- Onsite Event Management: Supervise and attend set-up and execution of events and meetings when needed;
- Works in collaboration on marketing and general outreach;
- Ownership of full cycle of events with support from the team;
- Works on a consistent basis to generate new business and maintains contact with present accounts;
- Participate in weekly sales and event logistics meetings;
- Responsible for traveling to in-person meetings and conducting calls, both corporate and private, to generate business;
- This position also actively works to promote and grow the company.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of previous catering sales experience required. Ideal candidate has experience with managing over $1mill in sales;
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests;
- The ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy, manage multiple priorities, and delegate tasks efficiently;
- Works on a consistent basis of supporting and promoting happiness at Culinary Eye;
- Self-starters and can hit the ground running;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse population;
- Familiarity and use of social media;
- Valid CA driving license with clean driving record and personal car or means of transportation;
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet firm production deadlines;
- A love of food and events;
- This role has an expectation of over $1million in sales for the first year;
- Strive for awesomeness;
- Computer Skills: Ability to work on Mac, Google Suite, quick learning of software programs.
