Our company is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus and service and encourages individual integrity;
  • Assist the CEO in overseeing the Corporation’s achievement and maintenance of a satisfactory competitive position within its industry;
  • Help drive team motivation and engagement with functional domains and as a leader;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agency leadership to continually improve on existing processes/systems to drive effectiveness;
  • Be available to brief the CEO on operational matters for review in advance of meetings of the Board;
  • With respect to operational matters, ensure communications, resolution of issues and project development;
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business of Corporation;
  • Perform other functions related to the office of the COO or as may be requested by the CEO or the Board;
  • Works with Hospital’s Leadership Team to oversee day to day operations, policy development and regulatory compliance;
  • Serves as a visible, accessible and engaged leader to employees;
  • Direct the day to day operations of the organization;
  • Improve operating procedures to increase profits and/or make the organization more efficient;
  • Managing IBIS’ various lines of business including eLearning, trainings, assessments, and consulting;
  • Promoting a culture of respect that rewards collaboration, learning, accountability and initiative;
  • Enacting and executing on the CEO’s vision for growth and innovation, while ensuring excellence in client services.

Requirements:

  • Must be detail oriented, focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations, and be able to manage communication with employees and vendors;
  • Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting is required;
  • Five years of hospital experience with a minimum of two to three years as a senior level manager is required;
  • Must be organized and be able to manage multiple diverse departments;
  • Experience serving as executive representative to professional/civic service organizations;
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration or related field;
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics;
  • Startups (required);

  • Working knowledge of email, Internet Explorer, Excel, Word, Access, and Financial Force;
