Our company is looking for a Clinic Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and edits transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology;
  • Transcribes dictation for a variety of medical reports;
  • Distinguishes between homonyms and recognizes inconsistencies and mistakes in medical terms;
  • Receives and screens telephone calls and visitors;
  • Produces medical reports, correspondence, records, patient-care information, and other administrative material;
  • Takes notes utilizing computer based software;
  • Performs a variety of clerical and office tasks;
  • Returns dictated reports in printed or electronic form for clinical directors review review;

  • Answers inquiries concerning the progress of medical cases, within the limits of confidentiality laws;

Requirements:

  • Computer literacy;
  • Judgment and decision making;
  • Must be able to type 75 words per a minute or greater;
  • Time Management;
  • Active listening;
  • Excellent communication and transcribing skills;
  • Critical thinking;
  • Preferred Field of Expertise: Medical transcription with combined medical secretarial and administrative experience;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Ability to establish and maintain quality controls;
  • Masters Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or Health Administration;
  • Ability to organize and integrate organizational priorities and deadlines;
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion and decision-making to achieve clinic objectives;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
