Community Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Community Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Determine appropriate staffing needs and oversee onboarding and training;
- Provide supervision, oversight and training for a staff of management;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Responsible for team delivery of materials per contract to clients;
- Attend meetings with directors/clients and prospective clients as needed;
- Responsible for teams efforts to successfully utilize integrated services to clients;
- Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and other vendors at branch level;
- Participate and provide oversight of internal controls and management standards;
- Provide oversight in general operations of the branch;
- Monitor performance of staff and office operations;
- Directly responsible for observing, displaying and promoting the company pillars, values, goals and branch management plan;
- Directs maintenance staff in routine repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds of complex.;
- Prepares and maintains record of work assignments and prepares performance evaluations.;
- Directs collection of monthly assessments from residents and payment of incurred operating expenses through the A/P and A/R departments;
- Interacts with, coordinates, and serves as liaison between Board and Owners.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level;
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.);
- Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level;
- Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities;
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills;
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player;
- 3 — 7 years of Community Association experience and Portfolio Management experience preferred;
- 5 – 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience required;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level;
- 7 – 10years of directly related or closely related experience;
- 5 — 7 years of Community Association experience;
- 5-7 years’ supervisory/management experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level.
