Concrete Superintendent Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Concrete Superintendent to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage field labor and provide field training;
- Identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions;
- Monitoring and Forecasting of man/crew hours;
- Maintain and submit schedules; communicate updates and impacts to schedule with General Superintendent/PM on a daily basis;
- Schedule pump trucks, material and equipment deliveries.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with industry practices, processes and standards;
- Complete dedication to customer satisfaction is a must;
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel and MS Project, BlueBeam a plus;
- Must be competent at performing complete and accurate project take offs;
- Ability to hold weekly toolbox safety meetings, and coordination meetings with worksite staff;
- Some travel required;
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule;
- Solid written and oral communication skills. Bi-Lingual, English & Spanish, is a plus;
- Knowledge and acceptance of OSHA requirements and other legal restrictions. Provide a safe job site condition for traveling public and pedestrians.
