Corporate Account Executive Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Corporate Account Executive to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Close business through proper solution assessment and management of customer interaction including technical assessment;
- Properly forecast monthly and quarterly revenue through attention to opportunity pipeline;
- Create win-win sales proposals matching our subscribers’ use cases;
- Qualify inbound opportunities and prospect for new accounts;
- Manage sales steps through CRM and other systems;
- Manage a list of critical accounts to contact for product release or bug notifications;
- Triage and resolve incoming customer inquiries (email/web/phone) efficiently;
- Record and track contact with all assigned clients;
- Manage a list of top accounts for optimal high-value conversion;
- Establish a consistent daily call routine in line with expected call metrics of 40-50 calls per day;
- Maintain accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast;
- Sales position focused on retaining and generating new revenue from the existing customer base;
- Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual revenue goals;
- Develop strategies using the back-office to identify customers who may have need for additional seats.
Requirements:
- Impeccable track record of quota attainment;
- Experience selling to Corporate Accounts;
- Demonstrated, proven success in lead generation, prospecting, contract negotiation and closing customers;
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel;
- Ability to travel 60-70%. Must be authorized to work in the United States;
- Understanding and experience in retail sales and commercial management (including productive B2B relationships);
- Must possess proven track record of consistently and successfully attaining sales goals;
- Must not have applied to more than 2 positions in a fiscal year;
- Track record of creating innovative negotiation outcomes to enhance contract profitability;
- Knowledge of business/commercial/IT/financial acumen;
- Ability to work well in a team environment, coachable;
- Minimum 2 years inside-sales experience handling full sales cycle selling security, VPN’s or Remote Administration and the like;
- Exceptional selling skills (“a true hunter”) and ability to sell into multiple channels with a well-grounded technical style;
- Solid business acumen having good financial and P&L understanding;
- BA/BS.
