Design Strategist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Design Strategist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead testing sessions and interviews, assist with note-taking, debriefing, data collection and synthesis;
- Collaborate on product decisions through an iterative approach;
- Identify and solve emergent problems in the midst of a complex and quickly moving initiative;
- Lead and engage with different stakeholders (internal and external) in the design thinking process to critically reframe and scope design problems;
- Design, organize, and lead workshops, co-creation sessions and collaborative sessions with internal teams and client stakeholders;
- Meet both internal and client deadlines;
- This position reports to our Director of Design;
- Interact with project team and contribute to meetings, both internal & external.
Requirements:
- True entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate successfully in a growth company environment;
- Self-starter with ability to multitask and manage time effectively under tight deadlines;
- 3+ years of experience in design strategy or design research;
- Ability to ask, as well as answer, meaningful and impactful questions.
