Our company is looking for a Director, Brand Strategy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Engine at external conferences;
  • Direct, manage and mentor three talented team members;
  • Build, maintain and expand client relationships through proactive outreach, strategic advice and activations;
  • Play a key role on the Cassandra leadership team to ensure Client needs and perspectives are represented appropriately in all decision making;
  • Ensure all ideas are packaged appropriately from a marketing and planning perspective, aligning with the needs of our brand partners;
  • Train and organize brand strategy team with clear client list, target revenue goals, and KPIs;
  • Stay abreast of industry & competitive news, unique advertiser programs and digital innovations, presenting the best ideas to the team;
  • Develop new sales marketing collateral using industry, marketing, and third-party research;
  • Leverage cultural insights and trends to build cohesive, differentiating strategies for brands;
  • Attend client meetings when necessary to explain the creative marketing idea in more detail.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience or digital strategy in a related field;
  • Proven managerial or supervisory experience;
  • Strong public speaking skills, and the proven ability to eloquently communicate complex information in a digestible and engaging manner;
  • Business development experience;
  • Strong analytical skills, creating strategic stories through lens of client goals;
  • Brand strategy (agency or client) experience, including brand repositioning, re-branding, value proposition and go-to-market strategy;
  • Proficiency in Keynote, MS Office, SnagIt, and experience with research tools such as: Google Analytics, comScore, Quantcast, and/or Shareablee;
  • 5 to 7 years in marketing & strategy;
  • Strong knowledge of digital sales, marketing dynamics, and processes;
  • Experience and interest working in youth culture, generational trends, societal shifts, and evolving media;
  • Management skills; advertising, agency or publishing experience is a plus;
  • Budget management;
  • Strategic and creative thinker with excellent verbal and written skills; ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to monitor insights and communicate data points to enhance marketing offerings;
  • Bachelor’s degree.
