Our company is looking for a Director of Catering Sales to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction;
  • Working with our existing team to ensure flawless operations;
  • Preparing financial reports and analysis (weekly, monthly and ad-hoc);
  • Working with our marketing and PR teams to drive sales;
  • Maximizing corporate sales and events;
  • Defining and developing across our four applications: catering, wholesale, gift boxes and events;
  • Determining menus, setting pricing, honing service levels, and styling catering presentation;
  • Working with the Director of Sales to cross promote across all Dinex Group brands.

Requirements:

  • Ability to analyze data and establish appropriate sales strategies;
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising and building a team high performing sales team;
  • Experience with the University of Chicago or another university a plus;
  • Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;
  • Must have valid driver license and ability to travel;
  • Bachelors degree with experience preferred;
  • Extensive knowledge of sales, marketing and revenue management;
  • Supervisory and personnel management experience required;
  • Minimum five to seven years of sales and marketing leadership in similar sized operation preferred;
  • Tangible experience in the finance of food (inventory, payroll, budgets, cost-analysis etc.);
  • Established contacts in the business community;
  • Familiarity operating Web based ordering systems: process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles;
  • Exude passion for food and culinary trends, and convey this in discussion with high-profile clients;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions;
  • 5+ years of experience in a Catering and/or Sales Position based in Manhattan.
