Our company is looking for a Director of Catering Sales to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction;
- Working with our existing team to ensure flawless operations;
- Preparing financial reports and analysis (weekly, monthly and ad-hoc);
- Working with our marketing and PR teams to drive sales;
- Maximizing corporate sales and events;
- Defining and developing across our four applications: catering, wholesale, gift boxes and events;
- Determining menus, setting pricing, honing service levels, and styling catering presentation;
- Working with the Director of Sales to cross promote across all Dinex Group brands.
Requirements:
- Ability to analyze data and establish appropriate sales strategies;
- Demonstrated skills in supervising and building a team high performing sales team;
- Experience with the University of Chicago or another university a plus;
- Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;
- Must have valid driver license and ability to travel;
- Bachelors degree with experience preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of sales, marketing and revenue management;
- Supervisory and personnel management experience required;
- Minimum five to seven years of sales and marketing leadership in similar sized operation preferred;
- Tangible experience in the finance of food (inventory, payroll, budgets, cost-analysis etc.);
- Established contacts in the business community;
- Familiarity operating Web based ordering systems: process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles;
- Exude passion for food and culinary trends, and convey this in discussion with high-profile clients;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions;
- 5+ years of experience in a Catering and/or Sales Position based in Manhattan.
