Responsibilities:

  • Supports all CPG Journey to Excellence goals and insures those goals are being met;
  • Demonstrates respect for customer needs by developing and maintaining value based leadership and participate as a team member;
  • Demonstrates an understanding of proper stewardship of the organization’s resources by the way in which one’s job responsibilities are implemented;
  • Planning and and management all operational aspects of clinical research and trials in conjunction with program goals and objectives;
  • Maintains established CHRISTUS policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control;
  • Ensure effective oversight of CROs and other third-party vendors and build highly effective relationships to produce quality deliverables;
  • Provides training and mentorship as required to clinical operations staff;
  • Provides Clinical Operations support during preparation for and conduct of regulatory inspections;
  • Addresses patient grievances and behavioral issues and develops corrective action plans as necessary;
  • Represents the clinic for community meetings as deemed appropriate, and identifies CBOs as a part of outreach strategies and strategic partners;
  • Support in implementation and maintenance of Clinic’s 340B Pharmacy program;
  • Delegates to expedite operational efficiency and facilitate development of supervisory staff;
  • Ensures that all operations support department metrics and goals for productivity, financial sustainability, patient access, and customer experience;
  • Manage clinical budget, including site budgets and contracts;
  • Create SOPs and document these processes as needed for operational improvements. Support branches with both pre- and post-claim review as needed.

Requirements:

  • Has demonstrated skills and working knowledge in;
  • Community resources including generic, local, state, and federal programs and resources;
  • Crisis management;
  • Monitoring the provision of services to people;
  • Determining the most integrated setting appropriate to meet the person’s needs;
  • Coordination of services;
  • In regulations governing services for people with developmental disabilities;
  • Coordinating and facilitating planning meetings;
  • Extensive experience and exposure to clinical treatment and administration and operation of fee for service-based clinical programs;
  • Availability days, nights, and weekends, as needed;
  • Negotiation and conflict management;
  • Assisting people in gaining access to services and supports;
  • 7+ years of global clinical research experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO company;
  • Knowledge of all aspects of drug development across Phases I-IV;
  • Bachelors degree in scientific, healthcare or related field.
