Our company is looking for a Director of Nursing (RN) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors care directives and activities of daily living in conjunction with resident changes in condition. Benefits;
- Keeps resident’s family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health;
- Sharing information with others through explanation and demonstration;
- Managing employee performance in alignment with the values and goals of the company;
- Ensuring all patients are cared for consistent with federal, state and Company standards;
- Helping evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services in relation to their objectives and costs;
- Involving others in problem solving and championing change;
- Ensuring compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and MFA policies and procedures;
- Demonstrating uncompromising adherence to ethical principles and organizational values;
- Establishing and enforcing the center’s safety and health programs;
- Serving as a role model for others by being a care and service champion;
- Developing and maintaining a positive culture that is built upon open communication and trust;
- Identifying and solving operational problems related to all areas of the center’s business;
- Other projects and duties as necessary;
- Lead and facilitate the quality and performance improvement of psychiatry and hospital administrators.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care;
- Provide fair and consistent leadership and serve as a mentor for your team and leaders;
- Demonstrate proven leadership outcomes and show success in establishing goals and objectives, and being able to successfully lead a team;
- Registered nurse currently licensed by the State of Illinois;
- At least seven (7) years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience;
- Inspirational Leadership Style;
- Requires minimum knowledge of a three (3) year nursing diploma program; baccalaureate degree preferred;
- Requires a working knowledge of the state and federal long term care regulations;
- At least three (3) years Labor and Delivery or Women’s Services leadership experience ( Manager level or above);

- A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory gerontological experience in a long term care setting;
- Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum 60 years of nursing experience, preferably in long term care;
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in long term care;
- Current license by the NC Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
