Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights to HR on recruitment strategies and emerging staffing trends;
  • Ensure that the recruiting function is capable and well aligned with the vision and goals of the organization;
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations with regard to hiring practices, compliance with EEO;
  • Recruit with the ability to match cultural and environmental fit, in addition to technical skills and experience;
  • Develop, implement and manage full-cycle recruitment processes;
  • Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization;
  • Develop innovative hiring methodologies through identifying unique and non-traditional sources for finding candidates;

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness with strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting and sourcing in the Veterinary field preferred;
  • High EQ with the ability to communicate, articulately and gracefully;
  • 2-5 years of experience and success recruiting in a company with fast growth and/or 5+ years of legal experience;
  • JD or former attorney is highly preferred;
  • 5+ years of Recruitment experience in large company setting;
  • Consultative mindset and ability to analyze and solve client challenges;
  • Highly organized and able to switch priorities on a daily basis;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruiting operations;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a team;
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards;
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding;
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • An undergraduate degree with strong academic achievement required.
