Our company is looking for a Director of Retail to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Refine omni-channel strategies to continuously deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience that spans both online and stores;
  • Manages daily replenishment of back stocked product to the sales floor, as well as maintaining a clean and organized back stock room;
  • Develops and builds store displays. Manages all merchandising within each venue to present product in a clean and engaging manner at all times;
  • Create and manage a team based environment with staff and continually evolve developing a positive atmosphere within the department;
  • Ensure the store will maintain a clean atmosphere by adhering to an established cleaning schedule;
  • Evaluate, execute, and manage any third party or temporary shop-in-shop or pop-up opportunities;
  • Coordinates the checking in of products, merchandising product on floor, and warehousing back stock;
  • Sets the exemplary role of Specialty Retail Service. Ensures the number one priority of all sales associates is the customer and customer service;
  • Working with Retail Director, manages reorder of assigned product categories, while managing inventory levels in line with business levels;
  • Establishes store procedures, ensuring all the above tasks are performed in a timely fashion;
  • Attends monthly managers training;
  • Ensures all employees have completed all end of shift duties. Responsible for the opening and closing procedures of the stores;
  • Assist in covering monthly safety committee meetings and/or ambassador meetings;
  • Help build ROA’s near and long term retail strategy.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day;
  • A reputation for creating a high performing culture that consistently delivers results;
  • Must be reliable and punctual;
  • Must be flexible with schedules and be able to work holidays and weekends;
  • Highly accountable with outstanding work ethic;
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs;
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Must be able to remain calm and portray a friendly demeanor in stressful situations;
  • Must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, crouch, kneel, climb, and reach often;
  • Attention to detail is a must;
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Must be familiar with the operation of a retail point of sale software system;
  • Must have the ability to adapt to unexpected situations;
  • Proven leadership ability, as well as strength in building internal partnerships;
  • Hands on experience opening brick-and-mortar stores.
