Our company is looking for a Director of Sales Development to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cooperatively across broader marketing team on account-based marketing programs to get into key accounts;
  • Ability to frame opportunities with defined customer pain and use cases to enable high success rates;
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly BDR team goals;
  • Communicate clearly the key value propositions differentiating the Castle offering;
  • Develop and maintain BDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling;
  • Represent the business development organization on the sales leadership team;
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in CRM system (Salesforce);
  • Work with Sales Operations and Marketing to create an industry leading demand engine;
  • Do all of the important things managers do–coaching, reporting, planning, etc;
  • Predictably meet pipeline goals from inbound and outbound prospecting activities;
  • Work closely with sales leadership to show progress against team goals using existing and your own KPIs;
  • Communicate clearly the key value propositions differentiating the Castle offering;
  • Manage the qualification process for inbound and outbound prospects to generate qualified opportunities;
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly BDR team goals;
  • Develop and maintain BDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of sales development experience, ideally having served as BDR Team Lead or Manager;
  • Highly proficient in Salesforce and other tools such as Outreach, Pardot, Gong, Leadlander and other sales tools;
  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding individual and team goals;
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills;
  • Great understanding of prospecting and social media tools and vehicles including Linked In, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools;
  • Experience using marketing automation tools and Salesforce or similar CRM;
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills;
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and change, and a passion for helping build Frame.io;
  • 5+ years leading and managing business/sales development teams for a high volume SaaS business; Inside Sales experience a plus;
  • Data driven mindset for decision making and test-and-learn programs;
  • Track record of meeting and/or exceeding individual and team goals.
