Our company is looking for a Email Marketing Manager to join our team.


  • Integrate communications with ecommerce platform and ERP system;
  • Design, maintain and tweak automated email campaigns including welcome series, customer nurture, post purchase, abandon cart and VIP programs;
  • Identify opportunities to enhance email programs through competitive research and industry best practices;
  • Track KPIs and optimize email calendar based on performance metrics;
  • Optimize open and click rate: through the right taxonomy;
  • Proactively evaluate branding, design, messaging, and functionality of email to develop the most effective email campaigns;
  • Manage key relationships with key vendors, agencies and freelancers;
  • Monitor and optimize deliverability and ensure CAN-SPAM compliance to maintain high deliverability, data hygiene, and channel health;
  • Develop ideas for email nurturing campaigns, A/B tests, how to improve email marketing metrics; and execute on these ideas independently;
  • Build the email program with an emphasis on quality list growth and timely messaging;
  • Work with creative team to create and execute email campaigns;
  • Own the end-to-end process of email campaign development, including planning, execution, reporting, and the ongoing optimization of the program;
  • Design and deploy A/B and multivariate testing initiatives to improve key retention and conversion metrics;
  • Optimize email programs through continual testing of creative, cadence, offers, targeting, etc;
  • Lead creative strategy and work directly with creative teams (both internal and external) to develop and implement creatives for campaigns.


  • Capture hindsight program performance and identify key learnings to impact future initiatives;
  • Responsible for development and execution of a segmented marketing strategy in conjunction with eCommerce team;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive as well as manage change;
  • Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Economics or Consumer Behavior;
  • Proven track record of building, implementing and optimizing email programs to meet business goals;
  • HTML experience to implement emails, landers, links, etc working with other front-end developers;
  • HTML coding abilities a plus;
  • At least 4 years of experience in planning and executing marketing programs;
  • At least 4 years of experience analyzing marketing programs;
  • 5+ years in leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment;
  • Excellent communication and project/task management skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience;
  • Proven track record of meeting campaign performance goals;
  • 3+ years email marketing experience in a financial services industry;
  • Understand email standards and regulations such as SPF, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
