Express Service Advisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Express Service Advisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain customer and vehicle information;
- Performing a vehicle walk-around;
- Advising customers on any needed repair/maintenance work to their vehicle while keeping the customer’s best interests in mind;
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts;
- Establish follow up time;
- Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service;
- Provide Customers with WORLD CLASS Experience;
- Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection;
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers;
- Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with Service Manager;
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order;
- Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses;
- Verifies that final invoice matches with the work performed on repair order;
- Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system;
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.

- Automotive knowledge or dealership experience is a plus but is not required – we are willing to train the right individual;
