Our company is looking for a Federal Account Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage and close sales opportunities with the DoD/DoE Community;
  • Travel up to 20% as required;
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Federal marketplace, develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current projects and key drivers;
  • Proactively create and develop relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with the wider team, particularly Field Engineering, Customer Engineering and Sales leadership;
  • Provide and meet or exceed sales forecasts;
  • Leverage existing relationships to drive deployment and successfully navigate procurement/bid process;
  • Build and strengthen your business relationship with existing accounts; follow-up to ensure all their post-sales needs are being met;
  • Leverage CRM to maintain accurate data and hold responsibility for the development, management and closure of forecasted opportunities;
  • Work strategically to navigate within existing accounts to expand footprint and use cases;
  • Work in close partnership with the rest of the Global sales team to close more opportunities and expand revenues.

Requirements:

  • Persuasive. Your written and verbal communication skills engage our potential clients in a way that is insightful and inspiring;
  • Passionate about sales and customer experience;
  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree;
  • IT or cybersecurity training experience a plus;
  • Quick study with the ability to learn new things, think on your feet, and problem-solve;
  • At least 8 years of professional selling experience in technology sales;
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas;
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office including, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills;
  • Understanding of e-business and e-marketing;
  • Successful experience at new account development or large account management;
  • High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service;
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs;
  • Experience with selling Analytics or Business Intelligence required;
  • Ability to apply and understand pricing strategies.
