Our company is looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build market awareness of CDW through participation in local/regional industry events, organizations and affiliations;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Assesses, develops and implements best practices that contribute to improved performance and overall success;
  • Position reports directly to a Director, Field Sales;
  • Develop business relationships with partners to optimize joint selling opportunities;
  • Train and coach team to provide in-depth customer technology roadmap and uncover new sales opportunities;
  • Develop target account business plan and lead team to significantly grow account sales, services opportunities, and profits;
  • Ensures accurate forecasts in Salesforce.com of annual, quarterly, monthly & revenue unit numbers through experience with data processing and analysis;
  • Models the way “from the front” to set the cadence and pace for the team;
  • Manage, motivate, mentor, and coach the technicians based on their strengths and vulnerabilities;
  • Ensures delivery of on-going education for all team members in sales planning tactics; ensures compliance with organizational training requirements;
  • Ensures team and individual achievement of all sales, plus quality, goals, and standards;
  • Conduct Ride-alongs 4 days a week;
  • Conduct Ride- a longs 4 days a week;
  • Representative will prospect new business on behalf of the company. This includes direct and indirect sales.

Requirements:

  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Good Listening Skills;
  • 5 – 7 years sales experience showing successful achievement of quota (required);
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees;
  • Three years management experience;
  • Teamwork and good communication skills a must;
  • Travel required, 50% local and 25% over night travel;
  • Ability to lead and manage to ensure attainment of critical results;
  • Experience in the area of legal and contract negotiations;
  • Self-starter, energetic multi-tasker, highly motivated and team player;
  • Knowledge of business and financial metrics for use as key performance indicators;
  • Ability to recruit and grow talent;
  • Five years of progressively responsible sales experience in related industry;
  • Proven track record in planning and execution.
