Our company is looking for a Food Service Team Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation;
  • Managing department labor and productivity;
  • Developing future leaders;
  • Leading, training, coaching, and communicating with all Team Members in their department;
  • Daily customer interactions;
  • Driving department sales while managing department shrink and expenses;
  • Preparation of food, including slicing meats, preparing sandwiches, cooking fresh offerings;
  • Sharing food knowledge with customers and Team Members;
  • Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings.

Requirements:

  • Oversee and assist in stocking supplies for cafeteria;
  • Operate all equipment in the cafeteria;
  • Ability to work well with others as a team member and under limited supervision;
  • Ensures that food temperatures are monitored and recorded;
  • Basic computer skills, and ability to perform basic math to compute weights and measures;
  • Address customer and co-worker complaints/concerns when department manager not available;
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes and dining room tables as needed;
  • Initiate open communication with co-workers and managers;
  • Ability to successfully delegate and develop team members;
  • No disciplinary action in the last 6 months;
  • Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy;
  • Customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery or similar experience desired;
  • Endorsement needed from STL;
  • Ability to maintain confidential information;
  • Must display exceptional leadership skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
