Global Account Director Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Global Account Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a global account strategy as well as program level strategies to achieve the stated revenue and margin goals;
- Develop a marketing and sales strategy to grow AutoGrid’s presence;
- Maintain, identify and grow key customer relationships, particularly at the most senior operational levels;
- Work across a variety of markets to understand, develop and implement solutions;
- Engage and network with customer end users to sell the value of the meetings program and drive adoption;
- Work with customers to develop strategic business objectives for the meetings program focused both on client and BCD M&E objectives;
- Work with operations management to identify customer opportunities for process improvement, consulting solutions, strategy, and growth;
- Financial management of the contract to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved;
- Foster cooperation, communication, and teamwork within EYELEVEL Account teams globally, across teams and branches;
- Create and drive forward global and regional client strategy;
- Prepare and perform quarterly business reviews with key internal and external contacts.
Requirements:
- Proven record of managing and developing client accounts on regional level;
- technology market;
- Ability to use a range of approaches and strategies to build a stronger negotiation base and form sustainable long-term relationships;
- A high-energy team player who is a fast learner and is at ease with technology;
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Experience managing relationships across multiple geographies;
- 7+ years of experience in Client Service, Project Management, or Retail Development, experience with global markets a plus;
- Experience Managing a $3M-$4M quota;
- Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must;
- Deep understanding of the retail industry, interior design, and fashion industry;
- Executive level relationship selling experience;
- Eight-plus years’ experience managing Fortune 500 client relationships, achieving new business revenue goals, and managing personal sales strategies;
- Experience selling both product and services business solutions in a tech start- up environment;
- A track record of consistent quota achievement.
