Our company is looking for a Group Account Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • New Business Support – Support new business on an as needed basis;
  • Help develop account managers into account directors;
  • Evangelize Hylink within the advertising agency and key client communities;
  • Prospect, identify, manage, and lead client pitches for media, creative, and advertising accounts for execution in the Greater China market;
  • Oversee and manage scope of work for clients and manage delivery of social media, strategy and buying deliverables;
  • Collaborate closely with agency and clients to develop partner-building strategies;
  • Identify sales and business development opportunities, and keep strong relationships with agency influencers and client decision makers;
  • Develop briefs, client reports, and key agency documentation;
  • Responsible and accountable for team alignment on large, collaborative initiatives across departments as well with other partners;

  • Nurtures and develops talent among direct reports;
  • Collaborating with other cross-functional department leads to improve and execute on client deliverables, process, and output;

  • Coaching and leading your Account support team through everyday client and internal workflows.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 12 years relevant work experience);
  • Experience in integrated marketing communication sales or media sales;
  • Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English;
  • Local marketing expertise, especially in the broadcasting industry;
  • Knowledge of and established relationships within the advertising or client verticals;
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time;
  • Balanced team player dedicated to client service;
  • 10-12 years experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously;
  • Ability to speak English fluently;
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans;
  • Proven track record of developing agency partners and successfully driving new and direct client business opportunities;
