Group Sales Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Group Sales Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales goals and facilitate future sales;
- Provide unsurpassed service by understanding, anticipating and exceeding customers’ expectations;
- Manage our company’s speculative group space;
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner;
- Answer questions about group offerings or the company;
- Work with potential or existing group clients via inbound and outbound calls and chats;
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge;
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment;
- Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training;
- Refined verbal and written communication skills;
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred;
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities;
- Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills, at least 45 wpm typing skills;
- 12 months of Major Market Group Sales Experience;
- On call, receiving calls from clients and carriers 24/7 including holidays, weekends and evenings.
