Our company is looking for a Group Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales goals and facilitate future sales;
  • Provide unsurpassed service by understanding, anticipating and exceeding customers’ expectations;
  • Manage our company’s speculative group space;
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner;
  • Answer questions about group offerings or the company;
  • Work with potential or existing group clients via inbound and outbound calls and chats;
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge;
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment;
  • Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training;
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills;
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities;
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills, at least 45 wpm typing skills;
  • 12 months of Major Market Group Sales Experience;
  • On call, receiving calls from clients and carriers 24/7 including holidays, weekends and evenings.
