Our company is looking for a Head of Sales to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a great team player with exceptional communication skills;
  • Collaborate with our product, engineering, and marketing teams to strategize market opportunities and pass target goals;
  • Manage pipeline and lead forecasting efforts within Swarm’s leadership team;
  • Represent talech’s product and services to our strategic partners and build and maintain trusted relationships with the partner’s sales team;
  • Be data driven in setting, managing and achieving your team’s sales goals through daily and weekly pipeline review and forecasts;
  • Come up with creative growth strategies in addition to the door-to-door playbook, including but not limited to priming, referrals, and mailers;
  • Lead, develop and manage a team of sales professionals who are customer centric, collaborative and accountable;
  • Hire, inspire and develop a growing sales team;
  • Must develop an exemplary sales team who can lead the company into its next phase of growth. Develop a culture of “hunting” and “closing”;
  • Guide competitive positioning, account segmentation, organizational structure, and go-to-market strategy broadly;
  • Consolidate and react to market feedback to drive innovation within the company;
  • Collaborate with all functions to ensure Sales and the rest of the company are closely aligned;
  • Work closely with Zoom as strategic partner;
  • Serve as strategic thought partner to the CEO and CMO in all critical decision making using a data-driven approach;
  • Ensure that all members of the team are meeting or exceeding quarterly signing targets.

Requirements:

  • Build and manage your own book of business through key partner engagement;
  • Quick study on new technologies coupled with ability to work with diverse customers;

  • History of successful team development: hiring, training, mentoring, and managing talented salespeople who excel in their role;
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce, and the ability to leverage CRM data for day-to-day productivity and efficiency management;
  • Experience selling technologies where hardware and system-level solution expertise is required;
  • Experience with OEMs and device manufacturers and/or knowledge of agriculture, maritime, energy, ground transportation, and telecom markets;
  • Must be willing to work in Palo Alto, CA and travel 10-25% of the time, possibly more as needed;
  • Self-driven leader with proven success penetrating new markets and closing new business;
  • Experience bringing connectivity/hardware/IoT products to market;
  • 5-10+ years of sales experience at communications, hardware, or deep technology startups;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and time management skills;
  • Strong track record carrying a quota and closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals.
